First pitch!

Huge thanks  to Art Fehr for a once in a lifetime  experience for my family. It was an over the top day we were able to spend with family and friends. Charlie threw and Frankie caught. We were greeted by Chris Heisey which was a thrill, what a nice guy. One of the best days ever.

Condition update/Surgery

Unfortunately Outz's condition has changed dramatically since his diagnosis only one year ago. He has no use of his arms, this actually has been for a while, he can bare weight on his legs but cannot stand on his own, and he is starting to lose his voice. He is still able to eat anything he wants, he just needs to eat small bites. With that happening he decided to get a feeding tube. The decision needed to be made before he actually had to have it. His oxygen levels need to be above 50% to have surgery. He said it is "another tool in his tool belt."He doesn't have to use it if it is not needed. We were told it will help with keeping his weight up and in giving medications. The surgery is scheduled for Tuesday Sept.23. As always prayers needed and appreciated.

Outz is continuing to fight and enjoy life as much as he can. He loves his "Thirsty Thursdays" with the guys and his continous train of visitors and helpers. He is happiest when people are around. Please visit any time. We continue to be overwhelmed with love and support.
